Kids say...Christmas version!

So i have been writing questions for Nolan and Destiny about Christmas and thought I would share their answers.
1. What would you do if Santa was stuck in your chimney?
         N- I would laugh at him until he slide down and then I would get my presents.
         D-I would use my hands to help him
2. What would you do if Santa forgot a reindeer at your house?
         N-I would ride him around for a year then give him back next Christmas.
         D- I would keep it as a pet, unless it pooped, then I would give it away!! (haha)
3. Would you give ALL your Christmas presents away to someone who didnt get any? Why or Why not?
         N- No. Because they are mine and I want them.
         D- Yes, because they are poor and I would want them to have something :) ahhh MELTS my heart!


So I know my kids pretty well but I was suprised by some of these answers. 

Something extra in the manger this year :)

I was doing the dishes the other day and I looked on my windowsill and saw this...Aiden thought the manger was a good place to rest his blue guy. i sent a picture to my mom and she said "Well even blue guys need to be prayed for" I agree with her :)

A boy, A bookshelf and a black eye

It doesnt matter how many times you tell him...dont climb the shelf, he isnt going to listen. Until it falls knocking him and EVERYTHING on the shelfs down. Luckily daddy was there to run and catch the shelf. He got hit with a train (on display) a picture frame and several dvd's. He has a black eye, cut nose and a bruise on the middle of his forehead. He is a tough cookie though. I think this is a lesson he learned. He hasnt gone near it after that.

Nerver assume....

Just because he doent have the candy in his hand DOESNT mean he didnt find it. He is jsut hiding it in the kitchen closet!

Yep, you read that right, we lock the fridge. Someone forgot to lock it and look what happened...Sugar by the ice cream scoop!! AHHHH

Stop "monkeying"around!!

Man Aiden loves to climb, and he is getting quick!! If you cant find him just look up :) He definatly keeps us on our toes!

When getting up or down from the table always push your plate away from the edge. Aiden was getting back up to the table and hit the edge of his plate. Everything flew in the air and landed everywhere. Including his hair!!! Ahh. Oh Well its just another LESSON LEARNED!!

Always Check your broiler BEFORE turning on the oven :)

I learned a few years ago to check my OVEN, but never experienced the broiler. When I smelled burning plastic I check the oven about 3 times before relizing I should check the broiler. Oh Well it was a LESSON LEARNED!

The Inspiration: Aiden

So Aiden has Always been a handful. He is like a Tornado, therefore the name "Tornaiden" came into play! He was climbing BEFORE he could crawl! He has taught me SO much about the little things in life. I LOVE this boy with all my heart. Since I have so many "lessons" I thought I would start documenting the journey :) I hope you enjoy!
